Art is the only thing I have ever really wanted to do. Being an artist has been my dream from the very beginning. I have never wanted to get rich from my artwork. Instead, I want to be able to make enough to be able to give it away. I believe art brings people together. It heals, it brightens the world. Case Art isn't just another art store, it is my way of helping others through art.
Desert Flower is a tribute to the beauty that is hidden within the realms of the desert. The things not often seen because we are programmed to believe that the desert is a place of death and emptiness. As a child the word desert was attached to Death Valley alone, barren, hot, dead. Truth is the desert is alive with beauty unnumbered. Treasures hidden for the adventurous to find. Life and beauty, like this blooming prickly pear, the go hand in hand with the word desert.
Desert Flower is 9 x 6 inches on watercolor paper. It was created using watercolors and watercolor pencils. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
No matter where life takes me, I vow to never stop using my art to help others. The talents we are given are meant to be cultivated and to be used to improve the lives of our fellow humans. It is a greater gift to give of these talents than it is to use them simply for personal gain.
