Art is the only thing I have ever really wanted to do. Being an artist has been my dream from the very beginning. I have never wanted to get rich from my artwork. Instead, I want to be able to make enough to be able to give it away. I believe art brings people together. It heals, it brightens the world. Case Art isn't just another art store, it is my way of helping others through art.
I often get asked the question, what is art? As a realist artist I find myself judging other art based on whether or not it is realistic. This is one of the greatest mistakes, because art isn't defined with check boxes. It is instead defined in the mind of the viewer. Art can be a blank canvas or a hyper realistic landscape or portrait.
So I ask you, what is art?
What Is Art? I is the first of a series of painting in which I am exploring all the corners of an artistic mind. It is 14 x 18 inches on canvas board. It is signed on the back only so it can be hung in any orientation. Which way you want o view it is up to you, the view. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
No matter where life takes me, I vow to never stop using my art to help others. The talents we are given are meant to be cultivated and to be used to improve the lives of our fellow humans. It is a greater gift to give of these talents than it is to use them simply for personal gain.
