Artist based on the prairies of North Dakota
Art is the only thing I have ever really wanted to do. Being an artist has been my dream from the very beginning. I have never wanted to get rich from my artwork. Instead, I want to be able to make enough to be able to give it away. I believe art brings people together. It heals, it brightens the world. Case Art isn't just another art store, it is my way of helping others through art.
Lost along life's dusty way.
To view the world through the eyes of a child again, before adulthood turned us cynical. Children see the world without prejudice. They do not judge before learning and greet each day with wonderment. This painting represents the things we leave behind when we move through the phases of life. Not only the toys, but the simplicities and openness. The love without questions and the fearlessness of youth. Open your hearts again, bring back the things of old and the child's play. Smile more, be kind, be humble.
Things of Old and Child's Play is 16 by 12 inches on stretched canvas. It is painted around the edges, wired and ready to hang. It also comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. It was painted from a photo that I set up with an old wagon I found here at my uncles ranch and an old buffalo skull from out in the pasture. The skull had its horns cut off with a chain saw, yet another statement to the way things have changed from the days of old.
No matter where life takes me, I vow to never stop using my art to help others. The talents we are given are meant to be cultivated and to be used to improve the lives of our fellow humans. It is a greater gift to give of these talents than it is to use them simply for personal gain.
