Artist based on the prairies of North Dakota
Art is the only thing I have ever really wanted to do. Being an artist has been my dream from the very beginning. I have never wanted to get rich from my artwork. Instead, I want to be able to make enough to be able to give it away. I believe art brings people together. It heals, it brightens the world. Case Art isn't just another art store, it is my way of helping others through art.
This piece has a story. One that is many layers deep. It has been a palette for mixing paints. It was the start of a portrait. Then it turned into an abstract. Then another abstract. And yet one more abstract. Until one Friday afternoon it spoke of what it was truly meant to be. Sunlight. A reminder that sometimes it is the most simply things that speak the loudest. That trying hard bares no fruit unless it is done with specific purpose. The final outcome is rarely the image you started with in the beginning. And in that is the beauty of life. Let the sunlight shine in.
Sunlight is 11 x 14 inches on canvas board. It is signed on the front and signed/dated on the back. It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
Barn wood frame available upon request. Email Katrina.case.artist@gmail.com for more details.
No matter where life takes me, I vow to never stop using my art to help others. The talents we are given are meant to be cultivated and to be used to improve the lives of our fellow humans. It is a greater gift to give of these talents than it is to use them simply for personal gain.
