Artist based on the prairies of North Dakota
Art is the only thing I have ever really wanted to do. Being an artist has been my dream from the very beginning. I have never wanted to get rich from my artwork. Instead, I want to be able to make enough to be able to give it away. I believe art brings people together. It heals, it brightens the world. Case Art isn't just another art store, it is my way of helping others through art.
I am in a constant state of trying to strengthen my weaknesses; it is a journey that will never come to an end. Along the way many lessons are learned, with this piece it was no different. The less I try to force something the easier it happens. The less I fight with a subjected the quicker its flow. Abstracts have never been my strength, my mind was too literal or so I thought. Truth is, my thoughts were clouded with the issues of day to day. Of trying to control everything, to make it all perfect. An unrealistic reality. When you learn to let go, beautiful things will happen. Don't spend so much time studying the minutes of now, just let it flow and look to the horizon line.
Horizon Line is 11 x 14 inches of stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
No matter where life takes me, I vow to never stop using my art to help others. The talents we are given are meant to be cultivated and to be used to improve the lives of our fellow humans. It is a greater gift to give of these talents than it is to use them simply for personal gain.
